My Summary
About Me
I am a qualified nanny with 13 years of experience caring for children from new born through to teenagers, including twins and families with 3 children. As such, I am a very organised and able to deal with multiple children's needs at once. I have a passion for cooking nutritious and varied meals and involving the children in age appropriate cooking to help install a love of healthy food. I naturally follow a Montessori approach in supporting children to become confident, independent and engaged in their learning through play.
I had had my own child in March 2022 and he has come with me since he was 12 weeks. He loves being around the children we look after and helps provide your child/ren with many positive development and learning opportunities they wouldn't otherwise experience.
I am Ofsted registered which allows families to use the tax free childcare scheme to pay.
My Experience
From June 2022 I have been working as a self employed temporary nanny. I have my son with me and have worked with various families including before and after school care, twins and and babies. These bookings have been from a few days through to a few months long. Depending on the family and what they have required, I have undertaken full nursery duties, prepared family meals, light housekeeping in addition to supporting their children's learning and development through fun games and activities.
From April 2021- March 2022 I was working on a sole charge basis with a baby who was 3 1/2 months at the commencement of the role. I was responsible for everything pertaining to the child from batch cooking fresh meals including vegetarian and vegan options, to installing positive sleep habits and adjusting the routine as the child developed. Unfortunately this role is ending due to a change in the families circumstances and childcare needs so I will not be returning after my maternity leave.
From June 2018 - April 2021 I was working with twins who were 9 months at the commencement of the role. This role was shared care with the mother, but there was a large portion of the role where I had sole charge of the twins. I also did some home management for the family. I travelled with the family and proxy parented for up to 2 weeks at a time. One of the children had an egg allergy and suffered with reoccur bronchiolitis.
From September 2017 until June 2018 I have did some short term and temporary roles, predominantly with children under 5.
From January 2017 I worked with newborn twins and an 8 year old. This was a shared care role alongside the mother and then later a nanny/housekeeper, however I was responsible for the running of the day and everything pertaining to the children. One of the babies had CMPA. I was made redundant as the families childcare needs changed.
From June 2014- Jan 2017 I cared for a 2 and 4 year old and a baby born 3 months after I started. I was responsible for everything pertaining to the children, including assisting with homework and increasing the range of food they ate.
From June 2012- June 2014 I was a sole charge nanny for predominantly one boy who was aged 14 months at the commencement of this job. There are also two older children in the family who were aged 8 and 15 at the commencement. I travelled overseas and locally, and also have had overnight care duties as well.
I was employed for a 3 week temporary job in May 2012 for a family with a 20 month old and a new born. My role and responsibilities were to ensure a smooth transition for the eldest child, ensuring that she was able to feel a part of the babies’ arrival as well as having all her needs meet. I also aided the family in hiring a permanent nanny.
I was employed from July 2011 to April 2012 when I was made redundant due to a change in the family’s circumstances. I had shared care of two children aged 17 months, and the second child was born a month after I started.
I was employed from February 2011 until June 2011 when I was made redundant. I had sole care for three boys aged 1 ½, 5 and 8 ½ in an English/ Swedish family. My key responsibilities were to care for the children, organising outings and play dates, the school run, cooking the family evening meal and some overnight care as well.
I was employed from June 2010 – October 2010 where I proxy parented (24/5) for two children aged 4 and 15 years where I had sole care of the children from Monday to Friday. From October my responsibilities changed to being a mother’s help due to a change in the family’s circumstances.

We really had a great experience with Larissa. She integrated seamlessly with our little family unit and she was a pleasure to deal with. She was incredibly punctual and we never had any concerns about the safety of our little one while in Larissa's care. Larissa cooked great, healthy meals and always had an activity or activities to keep our little lady entertained. She is as honest as the day is long and we would have no qualms about recommending her services to potential clients.
Where do I begin!! Larissa worked with us for a few months to help out with our 16 Month old little girl and she was absolutely wonderful from start to finish!
From day one she fit in with our family so well and was so caring and kind towards our little girl who seemed to love her straight away! You can tell instantly that Larissa has so much experience working with children and that she absolutely loves it. During the time she worked with us she brought along her little boy who was an absolute dream!! My little girl who wasn't a great sharer to begin with instantly took to him and loved playing with him!
If you are looking for someone kind, considerate and amazing with children then Larissa is honestly the perfect candidate!
Thank you so much for all your work with us!!
Larissa looked after my 8 month old daughter for a fixed term over a couple of months when we needed childcare. She was very confident with my daughter, had a wealth of experience and knowledge which was obvious to see and was always an absolute professional. It was a pleasure getting to know Larissa and her adorable little boy and was a shame to see them go. I would highly recommend her.
Larissa covered for my usual nanny at short notice and was incredible. My children were a little nervous of being looked after by someone new but it didn't phase Larissa at all, she was incredibly friendly and the children quickly warmed to her and talked about how much fun they had with her. My daughter particularly enjoyed spending time with Larissa's adorable baby son. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Larissa to anyone.
