A home from home

When we met Suki we knew immediately that we wanted our then 10 month year old to join her. Suki was warm, very interested in her and our preferences, and was the only person to hold her when meeting.

Suki was a home from home for a baby with two teaching parents with long days. She updates us with food, nappies, activities and photos and talks through developments and concerns on pickup. With sickness, dietary changes and medication she has been really supportive.

Our little girl loves Suki and she is really the closest adult aside from us she has. A trusting and warm relationship was built quickly. We don’t hesitate to drop her off as we know she will have lots of fun with Suki and the others.

Suki also has an excellent reputation in the community as several people on my baby circuit spoke very highly of her before meeting her. It is well deserved. Snap her up if you need a childminder in the area!

A wonderful childminder!

We are so happy that we found Suki to take care of our son. Our son was with Suki from when he was 10 months old right up until he went to pre-school at aged 3. He was so happy with Suki and thrived in her care. He loved his time with her and her lovely family. Suki’s house really was his second home. He misses her and still talks about her all the time!

Suki is kind and caring and built a wonderful relationship with our son. She made sure to understand his routine and his personality, and he quickly settled with her. Suki always communicated with us about his development and talked through any concerns with us. We were always completely confident that he was in excellent care with Suki, which is invaluable as a parent.

We loved that he was able to experience the benefits of a small childcare setting, and still socialise with other children at different local groups that Suki took the children too, and by spending time with other childminders and the children they cared for.

We would recommend Suki without a doubt, and when we found out we were having another baby we asked Suki right away to hold a space for him too :)

Not enough stars to rate Suki

Since we were both full time working parents it was very important we find someone reliable, caring, kind and fun to look after our daughter while we are at work. After searching and visiting numerous childminders I'm so happy and lucky we have found Suki!
Suki has been looking after our daughter Lexie for over a year and it has been amazing year. It was important that our daughter would get the home feeling at childminders. That's what Suki has done, she created safe, very caring and fun environment and it made me feel at ease to see our daughter happy staying at Sukis home.
Suki has been updating us during the day with pictures and activities kids were doing daily and would send us report at the end of the day what Lexie has eaten, how many nappies have she got changed.
She also gave us updates on her development. Kids don't just sit at home all day, Suki finds a lot of activities for children to do. Lexie favourite was visiting library and meeting other kids there, drawing and doing crafts.
Within very short amount of time Suki, Dave and Bobby became a part of our family. I could never thank Suki and her family enough for the care they have provided for my daughter with such a loving approach!

Homely and nuturing care setting

Suki looked after our daughter from when she was 9 months old for a year. We chose Suki because we wanted our daughter to have a small friendly home like placement so that she could form a secure attachment. Suki was always so reliable and our daughter absolutely loved her and her family. We often see suki out in the local community and our daughter is so excited to see her or family members.

Suki provided lovely home cooked food and nutritious snacks. Suki would send photos and updates which was very reassuring. There were lots of trips out to community events and museums, along with daily in house activities such as craft.

As a same-sex couple we found that suki approached events such as fathers day with whatever our wishes were and asked for how we wanted to celebrate it.

Our daughter is a bit of a character, strong willed but also has big emotions. It was lovely to see that suki fostered her character and our daughter is a very confident sociable toddler who knows her own mind.

We moved away from the area but will remain in contact with Suki.

We would not hesitate to recommend Suki if you are looking for a childcare placement. Suki will look after, nurture and love your little one as if one of her own.

Thank you Suki

Out little boy has been looked after by Suki from 11 months old, starting during the pandemic and not long after lockdown. He had never been left with anyone else. Suki was fantastic at helping Max adjust and settle in whilst reassuring us at the same time. Max is nearly 2 now and loves being looked after by Suki. Her family have welcomed him with open arms and it has been a safe, consistent environment for him to grow in and have lots of fun too. Suki is very reliable, responsive to our questions and suggestions and keeps us updated with pictures and videos daily. Her reliability has been invaluable to us - we can always count on her. We really can't thank her and her family enough and i would recommend her to anyone looking for a childminder.
