*You can now register your child for 2-year-old and 9-month-old funding.
* I have 15 and 30 hours of funded spaces available from January 2024. Monday to Friday.
* I do afternoon (11.30 am) nursery pick-up from Burlington School from January 2024. I offer 3 to 4 years extended 15 hours after the nursery.

I am a mother of 2 children. My husband and I are working together.
I am an Ofsted registered childminder, graded as “Good “.
I use the Montessori method followed by EYFS in my setting. And care for up to 12 children from birth to 8 years of age.
I am a level 3 qualified Early Years practitioner and qualified Montessori Teacher.
And also I have a Level 3 teaching assistant qualification,
Level 3 talented SEND coordinator
Level 3 home-based childcare qualification.
As a registered childminder, I aim to provide a childminding service that allows children to learn and develop in a safe, secure, home-based environment. Play will center the child’s learning and development, and a wide range of activities and experiences appropriate to the age and stage of action will be offered.
My service is open to all children and families, and I can care for children with additional needs. I have an outdoor play area and children will also be taken to the local park, childminders groups, soft play, farms, museums, shops, and libraries on a regular basis.
I provide a range of activities including arts and crafts, story time, singing time, music, role play, baking, construction materials, modern technology toys, science and Technology outdoor space, and jigsaws.
I plan my typical daily activities based on the Montessori method and EYFS.
My service is available from 7.30 am to 5.30 and I will negotiate a contract for each child.
My Experience
I have 5 years of teaching assistant experience,3 years of teaching experience with 3-5-year-old children, and 6 years of nanny experience.
I have been working with children for the last 20 years.

Bisantha has been looking after our twin boys (2.5 year olds) for almost 6 months now and she has been great. We feel it’s a caring environment where the boys learn a lot plus they spend quality time visiting various playing groups. Despite the fact that the boys can be a challenge to handle at home, miraculously they listen to Bisantha, follow instructions and do their learnings. Would recommend this childminder to anyone.

Bisantha is an amazing lady, looking after my son, she thrive in making each children happy and comfortable. Teaching them new skills each day while ensuring that they are safe. I could not recommend her enough to any parents. She is a second mother to my son who adores her.

My two children aged 4 (almost 5) and 2 (almost 3) have both been attending Bisantha’s setting since I returned to work when they were just over 1 years old. I knew from the day I visited her in her previous setting, and witnessed the interactions and kindness between her and the children she was caring for, that it would be the perfect setting for my children. I was not wrong.
Bisantha and family feel like an extension to my own; they take such good care, consideration and interest in the children and have always engaged them with age appropriate activities and adventures. They have experienced many a day trip to the parks, local library, soft plays and playgroups, and have paid great attention to their development in keeping with the early years curriculum. A lot have time has been spent also engaging my eldest with numerical, reading and writing skills in preparation for school and Bisantha has guided us with supporting his learning at home.
Importantly the children always feel very happy to attend the setting and each day I ask them if they are happy and if they have enjoyed themselves, and they always say yes. They receive lovely nutritious food (such good cooks) and a menu is
Shared with us in a weekly basis. We always receive photos of the children at the end of each day and learn what they have been up too.
I work in the medical profession, and due to the occasional unpredictability of my work, the childminder setting has always been the one which I have found most appropriate for our families needs. Bisantha and family have provided my children with consistency and security over the years, and such I have been able to work knowing my children are happy, safe and being cared for like one of their own. Our family will truly miss them as we relocate out of area.

Our 2 year-old daughter has been going to Bisantha's 4 days a week for 15 months. Bisantha does lots of activities with the children and uses Montessori methods and equipment. She's very knowledgeable about the early years and has it at heart to help the children learn and progress.
She only takes pre-school children, which means she does not have to do any school runs and the day is organised around what works for the children.
She has a nice garden with plenty of outdoor toys, regularly takes them to the library etc. Our daughter goes in very happy every morning!

Bisantha is an excellent childminder and has been such a godsend to our family. She was the only one willing to offer me government funded hours till I got back into the workforce after covid lockdowns. My 3.5 year old was not used to being around people other than our family but settled into Bisantha’s home setting extremely well. It has become an extension of our home. My son’s days are structured with a mix of learning, outdoor play, indoor play and external playgroups and trips. Bisantha’s home is well organised and she has a large garden filled with engaging toys and activities for her children. What we value most is that Bisantha and her husband are extremely caring and genuinely interested in my children’s well being. She has also started having my older son during school holidays. I can’t recommend her highly enough.
