About Us
Happy Kid's Face is a small nursery located in Twickenham, near the Green. The Happy Kid's Face is aimed at parents who care about an individual approach to each child, taking into account their needs and potential.
Children learn in two smalls groups: Bouncy Bunnies up to 9 children from about 1 to 2.6 years of age and Friendly Foxes (12 children) from 2.6 months up to 5 years of age, which allows for the creation of natural conditions for emotional and social development.
In the Friendly Foxes group, teaching classes are divided into groups, taking into account the potential and capabilities of children. This is possible thanks to the presence of qualified early years education teachers.
To enable children to have contact with nature and have uninterrupted, creative fun, we go for walks to local parks, libraries, theaters, and playgrounds, as well as spend a lot of time in our large garden, using various natural resources for play.
We attach great importance to physical activity, which is why we practice various forms of exercise every day, including yoga, gymnastics, and dance.
We teach cooperation and respect for the opinions and ideas of others. We see multiple solutions to one problem and develop our imagination and creative thinking through a range of tasks, from construction to communication.

Our activities
Happy Kid's Face provides lots of activities - learning through the play!
• Exercise time with yoga elements
• Fun with music and dancing
• Simply baking time with measuring elements
• Singing, clapping time, songs with actions
• Different languages time with songs and simple words
• Lots of arts and crafts, sticking time, exploring different textures and materials, creating picture collages using different resources
• Storytelling with puppets, and story bags
• Instruments time: ukuleles, drums, keyboards and so much more
• Painting on the floor, fence, and lots of different painting activities
• Fun in our secure garden, slides, sand and water, balls, garden equipment, bubbles, gardening, and lots of messy play in the garden
• Early writing, making marks
• Jolly phonics songs and play to recognize some letters/ phonics to start to read simple words
• Celebrating various festivals
• Numbers, counting activities and shapes, and math games ( flat 2D and solid 3D shapes)
• Lots of messy play every day, for example, making rainbow pasta, colourful rice, ice cube play rainbow soap foam bubbles, colourful spaghetti play, play dough, shaving foam play, and lots more every day)
• During summertime paddling pools, building tents, water play, and picnics in the garden
• Simply technology to operate cameras, CD players, or computers
• Outing to the local parks playgrounds, and shops so that children can help in buying, for example, vegetables or baking products at the nursery.
• Trips to farm, theatre, pet shop, garden center
• Organizing a visit at our nursery of firefighters, and policemen and on this occasion the opportunity to see all their equipment, listen to their stories, and see from the inside of a police car or fire truck
Development
The key person that parents meet during the first settle-in session will be responsible for the child and will support the child in the acclimatization process. The key person will support children's personal development and help them understand who they are and what they can do. Children can concentrate and learn more effectively if they are not under pressure or stress, so having a key person who is attentive and knows the child well will support children in their personal, social, and emotional development. Twice per year, a key person will write a summary development report for your child.
General information about Happy Kid's Face Nursery:
All child absences, illnesses/holidays will still be fully charged.
HKF is closed for the Bank Holidays and the five working days during Christmas Time and New Year's Eve, that's why we calculate the nursery fees for 51 weeks in a year, not for 52 weeks in the year.
Bank Holiday we closed but it is payable.
Payment
Our normal fees include daily freshly served meals for all activities including piano/keyboard lessons, simple yoga, baking activities, different languages time, messy play, storytelling with puppets, clapping time, rhythmic activities, instruments time, art and craft activities, early learning activities, and local outings.
Some trips to the farm/theatre will be charged for ticket and transport fees.
A sibling discount might be considered, depending on the number of days booked per week, usually, a 10% discount is given to the eldest sibling attending the same nursery for 5 days per week.
Ad hoc care is possible on the availability of children and staff on the day
HKF Nursery is open 51 weeks of the year.

Meals
· Breakfast time at 8.30 am (we usually have milk and cereal, porridge, Weetabix, and fresh fruit)
· Second breakfast (healthy snack time) at 10.00 (fresh fruit, yoghurt, pancakes, raisins, breadstick)
· Hot lunchtime at 12.00 Please find the attached menu for hot lunch, pudding, and light tea with pudding
· Pudding after nap time around 2.30 p
Light tea with pudding at 4.30 pm
Children have access to fresh fruit, water, and milk throughout the day.
We are happy to follow all parent's requests regarding meals, if you wish to have vegetarian/halal, different meals, or if you have any dietary requirements, please let us know we are happy to follow all of them.
Care catering company provides us everyday fresh and hot lunches with pudding and light teas with pudding.

Our Fees
- Childcare from £74.00 per day
All prices include daily meals breakfast, healthy snack time, hot lunch, pudding, light tea, pudding, fruit baskets, breadstick, yogurt, drinking water, and milk).
Under 2’s
Full day time: 8.00 am - 6.00 pm
Full days are charged at £82.00 per day including daily meals and the monthly fees are as follows:
3 days = £1045.50
4 days = £1394.00
5 days = £1707.65 (price includes 2% discount for 5 days childcare)
Over 2’s
Full days 8.00 am-6.00 pm are charged at £77.00 per day including daily meals and the monthly fees are as follows:
3 days = £981.75
4 days = £1309.00
5 days = £1603.52 (price include 2%discount for 5days childcare)
Over 3’s
Full days 8.00 am-6.00 pm are charged at £74.00 per day including daily meals and the monthly fees are as follows:
3 days = £943.50
4 days = £1258.00
5 days = £1541.00 (price includes 2%discount for 5 days childcare)
For parents who use Entitlement to Funded Childcare for 2,3,4 years charges will be introduced which is based on the EEF Funding Compliance training, Early Year Department from Richmond Borough, for more information please have a look at our policy.

If the child does not attend the nursery for any reason after acceptance of a place, then the deposit of £300.00 is not refundable.
There are no additional administration fees.
