I am a third year chiropractic student at the University of South Wales. Usually I am traveling with a youth travel organisation over the summer period.
My Experience
I am a trained holder of a JULICA certification and was involved in many volunteer projects since a young age. I have plenty of working hours with a youth travel organisation taking care of children several weeks caring 24/7. In my school time I was the head of the paramedics club and now trained for more than 10 years. In 2014 I started my first job as a babysitter and continued ever since. When I started my studies at university I continued sitting and supporting a local family at the greater area of Cardiff.
My Qualifications
JULICA (a german certificate in children and youth care, it's comparable to the Ofsted), First-Aid certificate (with more than 10 years of experience, frequently re-certified last 2022), further certificates from serval projects and children youth camps European wide.
My Availability
I am a creative person who loves to entertain and work with children. I can handle difficult situations and flexible to your needs.

Jannes is a very flexible and mindful babysitter. I have a daughter (7) and a son (6). They really love being with Jannes. The kids like the activities, no matter if going to the park or backing cookies. His meals are always freshly prepped, healthy and child friendly. My kids love him! I strongly recommend him!!

Jannes is a friendly and reliable university student who has been super helpful in caring for my baby (between 4 and 9 months of age). He is always responsive to messages, always on time, and always very caring with the baby. He has a lot of useful (and reassuring) training in things like First Aid, and has a lot of experience working with children. I found him very open minded and willing to change nappies, mix bottles, travel to different venues for babysitting, etc as needed. He has watched my baby several times while I was in the house/building on zoom calls or similar. In future, once the baby is a little older, I would be completely happy to leave him alone with Jannes.

I've know Jannes for a few years. He's looked after our boy. Jannes is safe, really fun and imaginative and has come up with really fun and engaging activities with our boy. I highly recommend Jannes as a babysitter.

Jannes has been looking after our now 7 year old daughter on weekends and he has been lovely with her! We can highly recommend him, always on time, reliable and very responsible but they also always had lots of fun together!
