Hello, my name is Tyrone (Ty). I am a 29 year old living in Winslow. I have over a decade of experience supporting and caring for children and young people from birth to 18 years old
I like to adapt my approach based upon the needs of the children/family. Due to my years of experience I have supported children; Sporty, creative, energetic, physical, quite, relaxed and those that require a low demand approach or need clear boundaries or somewhere in-between.
I would like to think i am fun and have a "good" sense of humor as well as, practical as children's safety is my main priority.
When I am not working I occupy myself by; learning to play the piano (still a beginner), gaming, watching films, listening to music or going to the gym. I am also an assistant Beaver scout leader.

My son (AuDHD, anxiety, PDA) adores Ty. He is the only person we feel comfortable leaving him alone with. Ty is funded via social care personal budget to come regularly and has made a huge positive difference to our family.

Ty babysat 4 kids (ages 8, 7, 5 & 3) for us at a festival. He was early to meet us and very professional. He has a really nice aura about him - someone that you can instantly trust and is good at setting boundaries. He is also smiley and fun. I highly recommend Ty for future sits.

Ty has now been with us for 8 months and we are absolutely blown away by his understanding and natural approach with our high needs sen child.
It has been wonderful seeing Ty navigate my child's needs, as well as seeing Ty taking the initiative to meet my child's needs, as my child frequently asks for me to do things, even when in Ty's care, however, Ty will take it upon himself to do these things and distract my child in the process.
We couldn't imagine our lives without Ty and he has been an absolute God send - there are very few people we would leave our child with but Ty is absolutely one of them.
For any sen parents, I could not recommend Ty enough and I hope we continue to have him supporting our child :)

Ty has been supporting our 10 year old son, who has autism, ADHD and extreme anxiety, since the New Year. Our son really enjoys the quality time that he spends with Ty and has grown in confidence in order to leave the house with Ty which is a major achievement for our son. Ty is very kind, thoughtful, friendly and sensitive to the complex needs of our son, Ty is also good company to have in the home which we all appreciate. Ty is very experienced and skilled in his work and has a wonderful calm, reassuring and encouraging presence with our son. We cannot recommend Ty highly enough.

Thank you Abi for the lovely feedback,
Tyrone regularly works with my 10 yr old son (ASD/learning difficulties).
They enjoy going out on trips, outings, shopping and playing at home. I trust Tyrone completely with his care and my son loved spending time with him. Tyrone is very experienced and has a lovely calm, unflappable manner.
I would have no hesitation at all in recommending him.
