About Me
I am MNT Maternity Nurse trained with an Enhanced DBS check and mum to two teenagers. I am a non-smoker, swimmer, and a car owner with a full, clean driving licence.
My work has entailed:
- guiding new parents whilst fitting alongside parents' wishes - to support all the family in the early days.
- supporting parents with breast feeding and bottle feeding.
- helping with routines and all aspects of baby care.
- twin experience, including prem baby care.
- sleep troubleshooter, both younger babies and toddlers.
- help with feeding issues; reflux, colic, cow's milk allergies. Also weaning/food issues
- Sole charge Nanny jobs both ful-time, part-time and weekend work from birth to 12 years old

I believe in learning through play and using some Montessori-type activities to increase both independence and confidence. I take a keen interest in child development and believe in supporting a child's individual development at their own pace - be it filling in any missing gaps to catch up or advancing the learning.skiils of more able children
I am happy with both sole charge and shared care.
I am willing to take children swimming or to local groups, and can do home-based craft, baking and outdoor activities as per parents' wishes.
I am able to cook nutritional meals for little ones and to cater for different dietary needs.

My Experience
I am an qualified and experienced MNT maternity nurse/nanny with over 25 years childcare experience, specialising in supporting the newborn to five year old age group. I have two birth children of 15 & 16 years old and as a family we were approved adopters. We have also hosted worldwide students aged 10-16 years for the last five years up to the pandemic, in our family home for short stay English family immersions.

I have special needs experience of ASD, anxiety issues, children who find change difficult, dyspraxia, speech and language delays, gifted children and the additonal needs of foster and adoptive children. I use a positive, child-focussed, therapeutic parenting style at home and in work!

I have had Michelle look after my two boys multiple times and she has never been a problem.
Everything’s always gone so well and the boys love when she comes over.
I can ask for the most silliest requests and she will still be here to help us out no matter what time I need her till.
She is a brilliant babysitter I couldn’t recommend her enough. Thank you Michelle you really are great!
