About Me
Hi Parents,
My name is Kirsty and my setting is called Little Diamonds, I'm based off Gipsy Hill SE19.
I am the Mother of 3 boys and have 15years' experience in which i have gained from looking after children and from my own/friends/families children.
Children in my setting are treated as part of my family and are always happy to be here, Its like a second home where they can be themselves/comfortable.
I am a very patient, calm, and organised person which you need to be as a childminder to run your setting smoothly.
I have always been passionate about working with children and helping them develop in all the 7 areas of the EYFS.
I have a level 3 Homebased childcare qualification which gives me a good advanced understanding/knowledge working with children and in partnership with parents.
WHAT I OFFER:
I offer a safe and secure structured caring environment with plenty of stimulating educational activities to keep the children busy.
A beautiful safe nursery garden so children can play outside.
I help children gain confidence and independence in which they need in their daily life.
I observe all ages of children daily and do daily record sheets for those children under 1 only, which you can have at the end of the day.
I offer a variety of healthy homemade meals/lunches/breakfast/snacks at no additional price.
I set activities daily to keep children active and learning whilst having fun at the same time, as well as setting activities/ using resources to help with their development for their appropriate age.
Aswell as doing activities in the house like arts & crafts, painting, games, playdough fun, flash cards and puzzles.
We also like to get out & about in most weather, so will visit parks, soft plays, libraries, museums, aquariums, farms to suit their age group.
I am also a member of a local playgroup which we do weekly in the mornings for the little ones.

I know how hard it is to leave your child being a mother myself.
I will work with parents in making the transition into my setting as smooth as possible.
I also give regular updates and pictures occasionally of activities they are doing and catch memorable moments if the parents would like this.

I have years of experience with all ages of children.
My Qualifications
Full Qualified Ofsted Registered Childminder.
First Aid Training.
NVQ in Health and Social Care.
Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering.
Qualification in Nutrition
Level 1 in caring for children
Level 3 Homebased childcare qualification
Full UK driving Licence + 7 seater Own car.
My Availability
Monday- Thursday 8.00-5.30pm
These hours can be adjusted to suit parents schedules but may be charged a higher price if out of working hours.
I take about 4 weeks hoilday all year round and give parents plenty of notice to arrange alternative childcare.
Normally its 2 weeks in August and 2 weeks in December.
I do not charge for my holidays! Only your hoildays.
So most parents choose to take their holidays with me.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
Fees are:
£8 hour for children in school.
£70 for a full day
£50 for half days
5 pound more for under 1s.
£12 unsociable/babysitting hours.
All snacks,meals and trips are included in price. This does not apply to funded hours

My 2 year old boy has been cared for by Kirsty at Little Diamonds for at least three months. He very much enjoys his time at Little Diamonds and Kirsty treats him like she is a second mother to him. He is always happy when we drop him off and comes home with such positive energy. It is the best childminding setting I have experienced so far. I would highly recommend Little Diamonds to any parent looking to entrust their child with someone so caring.

My daughter has been attending little diamonds for over one year now since she turned one.
I mostly liked the paper form I used to get at the end of each day when my daughter initially started but now that she is older it's ok not to have these anymore it was reassuring knowing how my child had spent the day.
My daughter has developed greatly, she can count 1-10 and she knows all the alphabet, colours, shapes, she knows the names of animals and objects in her regular books thanks to the learning support.
She is thriving in her social skills from the regular play groups she attends thanks to little diamonds.
I'm happy with the regular feedback I get about her day has been, my daughter enjoys her days so much that when I pick her up in the evening she still wants to stay and play.
I could go on, in summary, I highly recommend little diamonds.

My daughter has been attending Little Diamonds since January and absolutely adores it! Her little face lights up when we get to Kirsty’s in the mornings and she reaches for the door excited (which is reassuring as a parent). Kirsty is very kind, patient, and you can tell that she genuinely cares for the children in her setting and their progression. She keeps my husband and I updated on our daughter’s activities and the kids get to do a range of activities. I definitely recommend Kirsty!

Best childminder so far who has a heart for little babies, Very professional and wonderful with little babies/kids. Our little girl is always looking forward to go to Kirsty house and this has given us peace and we are assured our baby is in safe hands. Kirsty is very accommodating and will treat your child as her own giving her that tender love and attention. We recently moved house and we stayed in the area mainly because of our child minder. Your child is in safe hands at little diamonds.

I have a three year old son and he really doesn't like to be separated from me. I always find it difficult to leave him but kirsty was very understanding and settled him in so well, plus reassuring me that he would be ok and when picking him up he was so happy and continued playing that was a first for me and I just want to say thank you so much for providing that care and feedback about his day 😊
