About Me
Hello! My name is Anna and I have had child-caring experience in the last 5 years, as I have helped my mother raise my siblings who are now aged 6, 9 and 13.
I have additionally been volunteering with children through teaching them how to enhance their reading skills in the programme Tameside Loves Reading during my adolescence! Furthermore, I have been a nanny for 3 months in the summer of 2022, a role I thoroughly enjoyed.
My mother is a licensed childminder, so we have had children playing in our home throughout the last 11 years, making this the ideal profession for me when I am not focusing on my Sociology studies at UCL! Since I moved out of home for university, I have missed being around kids, which is why I love being a baby-sitter! I am extremely passionate in the field of education in my studies and I am looking forward to know you and your little one! As a plus, I know how to speak fluent Greek and make both Greek and Russian snacks, so best of both worlds!
My Experience
I have had experience getting my siblings and the previous child I nannied ready for school, taking them to school, and picking them up. I also know how to cater for children, perform general household chores and keep the children entertained! Furthermore, I hold GCE qualifications in English, Sociology and Media, as I am currently studying for a BSc degree at UCL, therefore I could also tutor kids, as I have volunteering experience in the field of literature tutoring.
My Qualifications
I have a First Aid Certificate, GCEs at grades: AAA and currently undertaking Educate Online training, as well as studying for a first class degree in Sociology.
