My Summary

My Experience

I have a top mark track record across the full spectrum of school subjects, speak 3 languages (English and French natively, and Spanish to high proficiency), and trained in music at the Conservatoire (piano, music theory, etc). During high school, I tutored and helped run an after school homework club; and over the past few years, I have been involved in outreach and furthering my skills in effectively communicating science with children and young people. Happy to tutor in any relevant subjects (including sciences, maths, English/literature, French, Spanish, and music)

My Qualifications

I obtained 43/45 in the International Baccalaureate: studying French Literature, Spanish, Biology, and Math at Higher Level, as well as Geography and Chemistry at Standard Level. I also took the SAT exam for US universities, ranking in the top 1% worldwide. Alongside this, I trained at the Conservatoire in music and piano, as well as competing in show jumping up to international level.
I am currently undertaking a Masters in Biotechnology at the University of Aberdeen and undertook an industrial placement working in bioinformatics (biology and coding) as well as getting involved in lots of fun science communication events, particularly engaging with children and young people. I am also taking an online course, "Genomics for Educators", to further these skills and train as a science communicator.
