My Experience
I have particular experience in teaching Geography and History, my specialty subjects. In addition to tutoring in other subjects, I am fluent in English and Portuguese. I have taught students from early age to A-Level years and have experience working with children with special educational needs, including ADHD, dyslexia, and autism. In my teaching, I create resources and model answers to help individual students address their concerns in the classroom. I focus on making knowledge easy and accessible, utilizing students' existing knowledge to help bridge any gaps in understanding. By breaking down complex concepts into smaller, manageable pieces, I aim to boost students' confidence and overall academic success through exam preparation.
My Qualifications
I have a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Secondary Geography from the Institute of Education (IOE). I also have a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Geography and a Master's (MA) in Human Geography from King's College London.
My Availability
I am available all week from 4pm onwards. During the weekends, I can work anytime during the day. I am also flexible with times and can adapt easily to last minute changes.
