My children aged 20 months and 4 years old have been going to dawns since jan 2023. Dawn is an exceptional child minder. She has such a postive effect on my children. My children ask in a morning is it 'dawnie day or mummy day?' and they want to go to dawns.
Dawn has been working with my 4 yearold since she was 3 on school readiness. she has really improved in her ability to hold a pencil - her knowledge has become more enhansed too but what really pleases me is that she has instilled a love of learnig ito my daughter
my son's language skills are improving with dawns imput
i would recommend dawn as a childminder

5*+++ childminder

Our nearly 2 year old daughter has been attending Dawn's setting for a few months now and she has settled in really well. Dawn always sends me updates of the what she gets up to and our daughter always comes home laughing and smiling. Dawn is very accommodating and flexible so will always try to help with our busy work schedule which we appreciate so much. I’ve found our experience with Dawn so much better than the nursery setting as she really does care about the children & she is very passionate about what she does. Thank you Dawn for looking after our daughter so well!

Excellent Service

Our 2 year old daughter has been attending Dawn's setting for around 3 months now after moving from a nursery and we couldn't be happier. She settled really well in Dawn's care and we were reassured all the way with lots of photos. She gets the opportunity to take part in a range of activities and the love and care Dawn has for the children she looks after is evident. This is definitely more than just a job for her.

Exceptional

Sebby has been with Dawn for nearly 1.5 years now. Her level of service is exceptional. She is like a family member to us and I trust her more with Sebby than members of my own family as she knows exactly how he ticks. He has come on leaps and bounds since starting with Dawn and moving from a mainstream nursery, so much so that we are planning on keeping her alongside pre school next January.
Anyone who knows Dawn well, know she's goes above and beyond with service and to help, as shown by 99 per cent of her other ratings. Go meet her, as within 10 minutes with a covid baby we moved Sebby to Dawn and he was exceptionally clingy then. Within 2 weeks with Dawn he has come out of himself. Dawn has had some exceptionally difficult personal circumstances, recently that she eventually took time off, but yet when that happened she was still putting the children first which was incredible.
Dawn is not an only incredible childminder who is like gold dust to find, she is also an amazing friend and feels like a member of our family. I have never for 1 second regretted my decision to hire her and neither has any other member of our family.
Don't let one misunderstanding below ever put you down Dawn. Your 20 year track record speaks volumes lovely, not to mention how you are with the children and how much they adore coming to you. It's extremely rare to see a child crying at Dawn's.

Dishonest.

We thought Dawn was a good choice for our son. However, when she was notified of her upcoming ofsted inspection she excluded our son so her setting would have less children and she could present in a different way. She then lied about it. To Ofsted, to my husband and then even to me. Whatever her latest rating may be it is not reflective of her daily delivery and I would caution any parent about leaving their child with someone who can so readily deviate from the truth.
