My Summary
About Me
Hi everyone. I am a mum to 3 children, I have 2 daughter's that are grown up, so they no longer live at home so it's just myself & my son & my husband.
I chose to be a childminder because once my girl's left home,I found my house too quiet with just me & my son.we live in a 3 bedroom semi & have a 110 ft garden that is very secure,we wanted noise again as in children & laughter :)) ,there are lots of toys/equipment etc for children to play with or on :) & I love being with young children ,watching & helping them develop & it’s lovely as they do brighten up my day & make me laugh :) we really do have a good time :)
My Experience
I've been childminding since 2008 & I love it :) like I said above I've been a mother for 39 yrs, & between my husband & myself we have 7 granddaughters & 1 grandson.
I go to mother & toddler groups each week & I go to cheeky monkey's,we have picnic's (weather permitting) & go to local parks every day .we have a good selection of musical instruments & toy's for inside & outside play & we have story time.
I don't have the TV on for the children & i do a lot of puzzles & eye to hand co-ordination , I also teach the children about growing vegetables & they have their own raised garden ,so they take the vegetables we grow home. I believe in inspiring the young to achieve things & giving them love & security & routine is very important so I work with the parents.
My Qualifications
I have now got my COVID-19 certificate as I have had all the injections. I have taken my D B S & 1st aid & health/hygiene & child protection, safeguarding & food hygiene courses & have started my diploma 3 in childcare & i did a short course on sign language,
My Availability
my normal working hours are 8 am until 6 pm BUT I am registered for over night care as well,I have NO problem with early starts or late nights, I also provide a pick up & drop off service, at a charge per journey.

Tracey has been taking care of our little boy, currently 14 months old, for almost 5 months now, right after our family moved to Cambridge from London. Tracey helped our little Vlasis integrate and settle in the best way possible. We've also been overjoyed to receive her daily updates, filled with fun activities for the kids' development.
We have been very pleased with the loving and caring environment she has created for Vlasis and the other little ones. We very much enjoy your daily updates and the pictures and videos . We are very happy with the activities Vlasis has been doing such as the playgroups, music groups, library visits and walks outside and with the fact that he has become a sociable little boy who loves being around other kids and playing with the other childminding kids. We are also happy that he is being food and sleep trained by you, as this is a big help for us. Tracey also remembered our little boy's birthday and got him a gift and on Halloween, she very kindly gifted a different costume to each of her childminding kids and painted their faces beautifully! Our little one turned out to be the most beautiful little Dracula/vampire and we will always remember that day fondly, thanks to Tracey!
We definitely recommend Tracey 😃

Thank you for your lovely review.
Vlasis has settled in lovely & has become part of our little family.
He’s such a happy little boy & throughly enjoys our activities
Our daughter has been attending Tracey’s since she was 8 months (she is over 2 now) old and we couldn’t be more satisfied.
She has always been cared for at the highest standard, she has fun with the other children and she comes home with a smile every day. Tracey has supported us through weaning, sleep pattern adjustments, language development (our little one is bi-lingual) and many more things which go above and beyond simply caring for a child. She is always flexible and collaborates with the family to ensure the children are happy.
Activities are well planned, we get daily updates and pictures, the house is spotless but with plenty of age appropriate toys and book, and the food is delicious and freshly made. There is also a wonderful garden that the children love using, daily long walks and a lot of open air time.
Highly recommend!
My daughter has been with Tracey for a year and a half. She started with her having spent most of her life in the pandemic and hardly seeing anyone outside the family. I was worried about how she’d be, suddenly spending whole days somewhere else. Tracey was great, she video-called us several times in the days leading up to her first session, so her face and voice were familiar. My daughter settled very easily with her, I was so pleased. She was responsive to her needs and gave her the attention she needed to settle in and get used to the new patterns. I really appreciated this.
I have never been into Tracey’s house due to the covid restrictions so can’t comment on that but she has a lovely garden with lots of things for the children to play with there. She grows some veg and involves the children in that which is nice. My daughter also likes watching the garden birds with Tracey.
My daughter has been happy with Tracey and was happy to go in each morning. Tracey seems to really enjoy the company of the children, doing different things with them at home and regularly taking them to the park. They spend time outside each day. The reports of what she has eaten show a broad variety of home-cooked meals which are enjoyed and finished.
Tracey gave us notice on the place to take on a new child who wanted more hours than us. Otherwise we would have been happy to stay there until my daughter was ready for nursery.
I am just adding an update about my previous review.
Tracey used to look after our first daughter until the Pandemic started, then she also looked after our second daughter Giada for 15 months. She is nice and follows all the government guidelines regarding the pandemic.
I was recommended Tracey from a friend of mine whose friend has been very satisfied with a childminding service with Tracey. Before that, Daniel, my 2-year-old boy, went to another childminder, even though it was a long distance away, because she had a good review on childcare.com. However, Daniel failed to settle in for about three months, he went in crying every morning which made me feel so worried while he is staying. The childminder was unfriendly and gave very limited information about what Daniel did all day long, what he has eaten, or whether he took a nap.
So I've been very happy since Daniel has met Tracey. Now Daniel smiles and gets into Tracey’s every morning. When Daniel arrives, the children who spend time together every day run to the front door to greet him which is so nice of them. I think this shows how well my son settled in.
In the morning, Tracey takes all the children to play groups, music groups, libraries or parks near the home, and leads them to have various activities. So the children can have a good play every morning while enjoying the sunshine. At lunch time, she always provides a fresh and delicious homemade meal, and they often have story time before taking a nap. On good weather days they have a picnic in her lovely garden with lots of toys. My son has learned lots of things from Tracey through the past year, for example how to walk up and down the stairs safely, how to share with friends, how to take a nap alone and how to speak words clearly etc.
Tracey updates me with texts or photos once a day regarding what Daniel did in the morning, what he ate for lunch, how much he took a nap and what interesting episodes he had. Sometimes she sends me video clips of him and children running around and feeding birds in her garden, which makes me smile.
I found that Tracey is a very warm-hearted and thoughtful person, and gives loving care to children all the time. I would definitely recommend Tracey to parents who look for childminders. Due to the Coronavirus pandemic situation, Daniel is staying home now. Daniel is missing Tracey and friends so much, and I hope that the lockdown is lifted soon so that he can have a good play with them again.
