Really welcoming and provides a home from home environment, our little boy loved attending Julias and we would recommend Julia to anyone needing local childcare.

As a first time mum I was extremely anxious leaving my little one for the first time. But as soon as I met Julia I was put at ease. She is amazing with my daughter and I can tell my daughter absolutely loves the days she goes there. I’ve never felt more at ease leaving my daughter with someone. I know she’s in kind, capable, caring hands. I couldn’t recommend Julia enough!!

She’s an absolute treasure!!!
I was so lucky to find Julia after moving to Cross Roads and finally getting my daughter a place at Lees School. Even though my daughter struggles to settle, and I was anxious that she wouldn’t be happy I needn’t have worried, 10 minutes into being with Julia in our settling meeting, she was babbling away to her and asking lots of questions which made my mind up I’d found the one, and I wasn’t wrong. She was so happy, getting to play in the park after school and walk home, most days I had to drag her away at home time as she was enjoying playing games, or tidying up. Not only this Julia was a fantastic support when we were stranded in snow, stepping in with extra care and leaving me stress free knowing she was in good hands until I could get there. Whilst with Julia my little girl grew in confidence and we were so sad the time has come where she had to leave.

Julia is an amazing childminder and always makes sure the kids are happy and loved my daughter loved going there she always came home happy and content. Julia was also very flexible if you had any issues and was going to be late collecting I highly recommended Julia if you are looking for a childminder. Julia felt more like family than a childminder!

My daughter has attended Julia’s house for 8 years now. Couldn’t be happier with her service. She always does activities with the children indoors an out (before covid ). She eats healthy foods. She’s had to do a special care package to assist my daughter with her being disabled now but worked around us which is amazing!!
I then ended up in a custody battle for my partners son an she’s also taken him in over night with very little notice an he loves her just as much as my daughter does. I completely trust her and couldn’t ask for more at all she’s amazing. We even call her mummy 2 don’t know how I’d manage without her !! She’s one in a million. Thanks julia

I first met Julia 5 years ago at a playgroup I took my daughter to. Straight away I was blown away with how she was with the children in her care! She always got involved with what they were doing and never took her eye’s off any of them.
We got chatting and my daughter got very familiar with Julia and would also play with her too. She was fab and I really wanted my daughter to go to Julia when I returned to work but u fortunately she was full and so I ended up sending her to a local private nursery.
Fast forward on years later I found out I was expecting my second daughter and one of the first things I did was get myself on Julia’s waiting list as there was no way I was missing out on her again! She was fab at organising days,payment contracts etc and is always so efficient! My youngest daughter has been coming for just under a year now and it literally is like her extended family. Julia’s husband,son and daughter are lovely and fab with her and she adores them! I never worry about leaving her in the morning and get regular updates as well as lovely pictures posted on our private group! I even managed to get my older daughter in over the holidays 😊.
I cannot thank her enough for how truly amazing she has been with me and my children and I could not imagine our life’s without her in it! She really is a real life Mary poppin’s and my youngest daughter is absolutely flourishing within her care. They are always going places, being treated and above all they are loved by her. This woman is a god send and we all think the world of her! Thank you for making our life’s that extra bit special Julia ❤️

Julia looked after my daughter for a year. She was fantastic with her. Julia did some amazing craft activities with her and always made lovely gifts for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. My daughter was always happy to go and had an affectionate nickname for Julia. Julia is very kind and caring and treats your children like her own.

Julia's House is an amazing home from home environment with a whole lot of love! My son was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes whilst Julia was his childminder and without hesitation Julia stepped up to learn everything about his care, including administering injections - which we will be eternally grateful for. She made a very difficult situation a whole lot easier for our family, which shows just how much she truly cares for her mindees! I will always without hesitation recommend Julia to anyone in need of a fun, loving and caring home from home childminder.

If I had to describe Julia in a single word it would be ‘ amazing’. I moved home to Haworth after many years away and it was really important to me that my children (aged 4 and 10 at the time) felt comfortable with their carer when I returned to work. Julia’s House has been a real ‘home from home’ for my two boys from their first visit and they both look forward to spending time there.
Julia is always friendly and energetic and her warm nature shines through in the way she interacts with all of the children regardless of age or ability. There are always activities going on at the house with regular trips to the park after school and a wide range of outings during the holidays.
I trust her implicitly and cannot recommend her highly enough, knowing my children were in such capable hands made starting my new job much easier. If you want a professional, caring childminder with endless supplies of energy and a real love of their job you need look no further than Julia!
