About Me
My name is Tracey Watson and I live and work alongside my husband Chris, who's my childminding assistant. We've been a childminding family since 2004 and we have a daughter. We enjoy healthy cooking and baking. I come from a nursing background which I loved. We're trained and experienced in children’s learning and development, gained through continuous professional development. We believe passionately about good quality childcare in a home environment. Our home is well-equipped for indoor play and we have a large garden, providing children with a safe and secure fun learning environment.
My Experience
Our planned curriculum using the early years foundation stage, supports the children’s learning through play. The seven areas of the EYFS underpin the children's early development.
Our parents/carers receive daily messages and photos about their child. We encourage verbal handovers with our families in the mornings and evenings. Our parents/carers noticeboard will keep you updated about the children's weekly planned activity’s. Our setting encourages working in partnership with parents by encouraging home learning with families.
Our activities include music and movement, playdough, arts & crafts, cookery, sandplay, reading, messy play and construction play. We also post letters home, have picnics out, visit local play parks and go on nature walks. These all encourage imagination and language skills and help to build the children's confidence.

I have a foundation degree in Early Years. And we are trained and experienced in children’s learning and development, gained through continuous professional development.

NO CHILDCARE SPACES AVAILABLE.
Opening Hours.
8am till 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
48 weeks a year.
We do not offer weekend or overnight childcare.
We do not offer pick up or drop off to schools.

My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
£50 a day 8am to 5.30pm.
£5 from 7.30am to 8am.
These fees include all the children's daily meals and drinks throughout the day. All outings and baby changing items are provided, except for nappies and formula milk.

Our daughter has been going to Tracey and Chris for nearly a year now and she absolutely loves it. They do such a variety of learning activities each week with outside play in a big garden area too. Tracey and Chris are so warm, friendly and provide a wonderful nurturing environment for our daughter. She is thriving there and we are so grateful to have Tracey and Chris looking after her whilst we are at work.

Tracey and Chris have been taking care of our one year old boy for 2 months now and he’s already made a huge developmental progress – self-feeding, talking, social skills etc. He’s being treated there as part of their family and feels happy and safe there.
There’s plenty of different activities – making music, different arts and crafts, playdough, baking, nature walks, garden play, storytelling, also learning the alphabet, counting etc.
They have access to a huge garden, plenty of toys, trucks, slides, a hedgehog house and even a tipi tent. We love the fact that he gets to play with children in different age groups. They all really look out for each other.
Great contact and plenty of messages through WhatsApp made the adaptation period much easier for us the parents – we receive a schedule for the following week ahead, daily menu, updates with photos and videos on how the day has been going including nap times, amount of food eaten and even poos.
Tracey and Chris are very warm and good people, we couldn’t be happier to have found you.

Tracey and Chris are lovely people and great childminders. My daughter loves every day with them! Nothing is too much trouble and they accommodate all needs. I’m so grateful to have found them as it’s made going back to work so much easier. I highly recommend their care!

We feel extremely lucky to have found Tracey and Chris. They are so caring and have created a true home-from-home for our son. From day one, they made him feel so at ease and their years of experience, and the warm and friendly environment they’ve created in their own home for the children, meant that we as parents immediately felt at ease too. They provide a range of stimulating activities throughout the day and are always looking for new ways to help the children develop. They keep us really well informed throughout the day of things our son has been doing, including great videos and photos. He is so happy there, goes in with a huge smile every day, and we could not be happier parents either.

My little girl has been in the setting since she was 7 months old, full time, and we could not have been more happy to be with Tracey and Chris. Home cooked meals, home like setting and a lot of different daily activities definitely helped our little girl to be more confident as a little person. We get daily updates on activities, meal plans and progress on our little girl. She is 3 now and we decided to stay until she goes to pre school, as Tracey and Chris are too good to leave. Both are great people, very warm and caring. They pay attention to individual needs and progression and give advice if needed.
We are very lucky to have a place with them as they are great with kids, very reasonably priced and the children love them. Would recommend to anyone who needs childcare.
